PIANO AND
SINGING LESSONS

What Sets My Teaching Apart
Dynamic, flexible, and personalised, always focused on personal goals.
As a teacher, my role is to accompany students on their artistic journey. Together, we set your personal goals and shape our lessons accordingly. Artistic and stylistic diversity has always been essential to me, as it offers flexibility as a musician. I love moving through a range of styles—from classical and jazz to pop, improvisation and experimental music—and I aim to bring as many aspects of this variety into my teaching as possible.
Singing lessons…
… are intriguing, because working with the voice means working with something deeply personal. My voice teaching blends techniques from various fields, focusing on three main aspects: breath and the connection to the body (the driving force), the vocal cords themselves (sound production), and our resonance spaces that allow us to shape sound as desired. Part of my work involves mastering these essential technical elements to give full, flexible use of the voice. Additionally, I emphasize creative ideas and personal musical expression, always keeping in mind why we enjoy to sing. My aim is to promote an intuitive approach to vocal expression. People often say “everyone can sing,” and it’s true! We often worry too much about how we should sound or what others expect from us. Singing freely and intuitively in the moment is not only a beautiful and liberating act, but it’s also what truly moves and connects people.
Piano lessons…
… are captivating in a different way. Unlike the voice, the piano is a separate instrument that resonates outside the body. I see it as an extension of ourselves—a tool that allows us to share our creative ideas with the world. I shape my lessons around my students’ musical interests. I emphasize two areas: first, the essential skills needed for playing the piano, such as technique, music theory, rhythm, phrasing, and articulation. But there’s also always room for music performance, collaborative work and improvisation. Developing a personal artistic identity is also essential, with a goal of not just playing pieces correctly, but also expressing a deeper message. Our ideas arise from within; our fingers and the piano keys are merely the medium for our musical expression.
